SmileHealthy Selected as Provider of the Year
The Champaign County Health Care Consumers awarded SmileHealthy their Provider of the Year for "distinguishing itself as a fine and caring, and innovative dental care provider organization, willing to provide care to all qualified children who need the care, regardless of income or insurance status."

June is National Smiles Month
SmileHealthy joins with Oral Health America, an advocacy group based in Chicago, the British Dental Foundation and the International Dental Health Foundation to bring you National Smile Month.
Apart from smiling more, everyone is encouraged to brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, visit your dental provider as often as recommended, and chose tooth-friendly foods. Read More
SmileHealthy Awarded $150,000 for Mobile Dental Services
Central Illinois Dental Education and Services has a new name and big news. Now called SmileHealthy, the program recently learned that they are to receive an Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation grant for over $100,000 to take the dental care they provide for children on the road throughout Champaign County. SmileHealthy Is Our New Name
The Board of Directors at Central Illinois Dental Education and Services (CIDES) changed the organization’s name to reflect our growing programs and interest in helping people become active in their own dental health. Thanks to all that were part of the original Smile Healthy effort locally including: WILL, WBCP, Champaign County Health Care Consumers and CIDES.
SmileHealthy is dedicated to working with the community to meet the oral health needs of underserved children and families by focusing on preventive care, treatment and education to a provide a lifetime of excellent oral health.
